About us

The Society is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organisation, set up to promote a new, more participatory politics, and to widen democratic participation.

We aim to:

• Bring together people with a professional or personal interest in politics and political reform
• Lead the creation of friendly and trustworthy spaces for democratic debate
• Provide online tools and resources to support those spaces
• Advance democracy and democratic debate at home and abroad.

Registration on this website is free. Society membership is open to all, for a small monthly or annual subscription.
