The second consultation workshop for the proposed North Street Quarter development in Lewes will be on Monday 7th October from 4pm-7.30pm at Southover Grange in Lewes. It is a ‘drop in’ workshop so please come when you like and stay for as long as you would like.

The proposed North Street Quarter redevelopment is in line with the Lewes District Council and South Downs National Park Authority Joint Core Strategy, which allocates the area for redevelopment to provide around 350 homes and a mixed used development.

The first phase of the consultation about this proposed development was held in January. This second phase of the consultation includes updates on the actions that have been taken in response to the feedback received at the first consultation.  This includes the sustainability of the site, water management, transport, land use and the design and building style. There will also be opportunities to comment and express views about the next stages of the design.

There are more details about all aspects of the development on the North Street Quarter website including and the information from the workshop and a link to a questionnaire where you can leave your comments.
