On the 24-26 January 2014 Stefan and Xavier are holding a European Parliament hackathon supported by Citizen for Europe. This is an event where coders, graphists, activists and journalists can come together to collaborate on software projects that will help citizens to access and connect in new ways with politics in Europe.
Participants will lead the projects, deciding what they want to work on and collaborating to create innovative new tools for engagement. These projects can focus on whatever you like, from gender, LGBT rights and nationalism to climate change or whatever you feel most passionate about.
There will be millions of records held under an open data license for you to use to build your projects. If you’d like to get involved you can still register here.
