Zero Heroes: “How To Spend It” Events

It is almost time for the Zero Heroes “How to Spend It” events! Take part at 12 events around the district to work out how your community wants to spend its share of the prize fund, and how you can get more by recycling more. This is a great opportunity for local projects and improvements to receive funding. Please spread the word and come along to have your say on what you would like to spend money on in your community.

The events are open to everyone and will provide an opportunity for people to come together and decide what community projects and improvements the Community Prize Fund money should be used for. Residents will be able to submit ideas beforehand and the community can budget and prioritise to ensure that the area invests in projects that people really want and care about.

You will shortly be able to submit, discuss and vote for ideas and projects you would like to receive funding on dedicated local websites. We will be sure to contact you in a few days time when these become available. In the meantime, if you have an idea or a project you wish to nominate please email us at with your ideas and a short description of why they deserve funding and we will upload them to the ‘Your Priorities’ site to be considered by your community.
