United Poland (SP). United Poland was formed in 2012 from a split from the Catholic-Nationalist wing of Law and Justice.
Broadly it ideologically resembles Law and Justice, except perhaps even more so. It is heavily socially conservative and backs higher taxes on big companies and the wealthy.
It rejects man-made climate change theories and gay marriage.
The party has yet to poll enough support to suggest it will win seats.
While originally it continued to sit in the European Conservatives and Reformists, the SP has moved to Europe of Freedom and Democracy in objection to the ECR’s ‘liberal’ views on the former two policies and its advocacy of cuts to the Common Agricultural Policy.
The party is one of the most loyal members of the EFD, voting alongside it 72.2% of the time, the third highest loyalty in a highly incoherent group.
