Zero Heroes Competition: Voting has closed. Results will be out soon.

Thanks to all who have reduced their waste, and those who submitted and voted for ideas as part of the Zero Heroes Community Competition. We were delighted to receive 135 ideas from across the district that proposed to spend the prize fund in a variety of ways such as community gardens, improvements to community halls and support for youth clubs. You can see all the ideas in each area by following the links here.

Voting has now finished and we are contacting those who submitted ideas shortly and will keep you updated about which projects will get the prize money in each. Projects will be chosen based upon their affordability, financial sustainability and practicality as well as having local support from the relevant Your Priorities Website. You can see more details in the competition rules here.

We will be announcing the prize winners for each of the areas as soon as we have them. Keep watching this blog for updates, or sign up to our mailing list.

We are pleased that all areas have received a share of the prize fund; so congratulations for a great community effort and for the overall reduction in waste! Click here to find out more about the performance of each area.
