Beth joined Demsoc’s Brighton office in 2015, and has since worked in Manchester and now Brussels. In Manchester, she established the new office and worked as a key network builder, managing the internal and external communications strategy alongside project work.

Beth is now the European Programme Officer, based in Brussels, contributing to projects that increase understanding and engagement with governance across Europe, through participatory and deliberative democracy. These include the Open Government Network for Europe, the European Citizens Consultations and others. She returns to the UK to support the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in communicating better with residents.

Beth has a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Sussex. Her wider interests include state formation and function, and social equality, particularly gender equality.
