Grégory Dianzenza joined DemSOC in August 2023 as a Project Officer. Grégory brings his different experiences regarding policies for civil society organisations, Public-Private-Partnerships and grant management. Within DemSoc, he will mainly focus on LIFE People-driven: Adapting Cities for Tomorrow project (PACT) and the citizens agora initiated by IFDD. Before joining DemSoc, Grégory acquired most of his experience at the Africa-Europe Diaspora Development Platform wherein he progressed from Diaspora and Engagement Fellow to Policy and Partnership lead in 3,5 years. He had the opportunity to echo the voices of the African diaspora at forums, namely the International Migration Review Forum 2022 in New York, the ATUMNET Strategic session in Abuja, the European Development Days and many others. Grégory also worked for the Deloitte foundation where he had the opportunity to understand the philanthropic perspective of a consultancy enterprise.

Grégory holds a Bachelor in Communication Management from the  Erasmus University College Brussels and a Master in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp. After obtaining his master in 2018, he did an internship for the Delegation of Flanders in the USA, based in New York.

Things I’m learning

• I’m trying to increase my knowledge on Spanish. I would like to hold a professional conversation without a mistake by the end of 2024.
• Everyday I’m learning more and more on politics, whether it is on the international stage or at the local level.
