Why Democratic Society?

Demsoc’s commitment to participatory democracy, climate justice, and citizen engagement really speaks to my own values and passion for social justice. I believe that building a more inclusive and fair society requires both ongoing learning and actively giving back, and I’m excited to contribute to that mission through my work here. I’m also passionate about languages, so I’m excited about the chance to learn French during my time in Brussels.

Profile

Victoria joins Demsoc as a European Democratic Trainee. With a background in Political Science and a master's in progress in Human Rights, Democracy, and Globalisation, she brings a passion for social justice, inclusive governance and sustainable development. Her recent internship at the Catalan Delegation to the EU gave her practical experience in digital rights, institutional affairs, and cross-border cooperation. Victoria is excited to contribute to Demsoc's mission of designing democratic innovations to foster a participatory, socially just and climate conscious and active society.
